Lagos de Moreno is a city and municipality located in the northeastern part of the state of Jalisco, Mexico. The municipality has an area of 1,725.43 km² (666.04 mi²) and is bordered by several other municipalities, including Encarnación de Díaz to the north, San Diego de Alejandría to the east, San Juan de los Lagos to the south, and Ojuelos de Jalisco to the west.
The city of Lagos de Moreno is the largest urban center in the municipality and has a population of approximately 160,000 people. It is located about 150 km (93 mi) northeast of the state capital of Guadalajara and is accessible via federal highways 45 and 80.
Lagos de Moreno is known for its well-preserved historic center, which features several colonial-era buildings and landmarks, including the Parroquia de la Asunción and the Santuario del Señor de la Misericordia.
